Animation of Project Installation

An animation sequence of the construction steps involved with a proposed shoreline restoration project in the Garden's North Lake can be viewed by clicking the play button below. This animation sequence closely resembles the installation of Bioengineering Shoreline Treatment 2, which involves the placement of an underwater stone berm in the lake and then backfilling with clay soil to create a wide shallow water planting "shelf" along the shoreline for aquatic and emergent plants.

The movie is a Windows Media Player file (.wmv format) that is approximately 4 minutes in length; note that the accompanying audio file is simply pleasant background music and so it is not necessary for your computer to have an audio output for the information to be understandable. The file size is 38 MB.
